I knew a designer who worked out of his apartment.  It was a 5 story walk up with no ventilation and two cats. Who wants to stand in someone’s stuffy apartment next to a sink full of dirty dishes so you can be measured for a dress? Location is everything, and that place was nothing.

Planet Pepper is a professional studio space that is in the middle the Garment District of New York City on 39^th St. While consulting with you on your outfit, we can look for the perfect fabric downstairs in the neighborhood.

I founded and own Planet Pepper. You can call me Vinnie.  I got my Masters in Creative Writing from Queens College/CUNY.  But I fell in love with all sorts of writing everything from plays and articles to grants and business plans.  I won several competitions.  Sometimes I even teach business communication at local colleges.

Alex Bartlett, you can call him Pepper, is the Head Designer at Planet Pepper.  He got his degree in Set Design from Wagner College where he first developed his unique understanding of perspective.  At Eve’s Brooks he designed and fixed costumes.  He was soon working on Broadway on Rocky Horror. Next he did wardrobe and wigs the entire run of Hairspray. Pepper is the Empress of the Imperial Court Of New York.
